Homeothermic systems

• Available for mouse, rat, hamster or rabbit

• The complete system consists of a Control Unit, a blanket or pad and a temperature probe

• The desired body temperature (32 - 45ºC) is easily set by the front panel of the control Unit

• The body temperature is controlled by the linear temperature probe connected to the Control Unit

• When the body temperature falls below the target, the Control Unit increases the temperature of the blanket

• Does not produce electrical noise owing to the DC power supply

• Temperature probes interchangeablesThe Control Units HB-101 & HB-121 can be supplied also with RS 232 communications port & software, so the user can see the temperature data on the PC screen at selected time periods.

The Control Unit HB-121 has a double temperature display with two temperature probes. So, it can be controlled either the rectal temperature and the blanket or the body surface temperature. A switch allows to select the probe which temperature will be used for control.

The Homeothermic System uses the calibrated thermistor probes, interchangeables without loss of accuracy:
YSI 401	Rectal flexible vinyl probe for Rabbits 4 mm diam.
YSI 402	Rectal flexible vinyl probe for Rats/Mice 3 mm diam.
YSI 451	Rectal semi-flexible probe for Mice 2 mm diam.
YSI 409	Surface probeThe Blankets can be hard (rigid) pads (suitable for stereotaxic surgery, as it fits perfectly into the frame of the rat stereotaxic) or soft blanket.

Operating Tables

Rodent tables offers:

• Fully tilting platform with an easy to use fixing mechanism

The LETICA®'s OT-100 Rodent Operating Table offer a convenient, non-absorbent and easily cleaned PVC platform, jointly with a set of fixing tools.

Measures: 300 x 200 x 120 mm.

The Letica®'s OT-200 Homeothermic Rodent Operating Table uses the HB 121 Control Unit as the DC power supply for the platform heating. l t needs two temperature probes, to control the temperature of the animal and the temperature of the table itself.
