SMART-SS allows not only the number of contacts between animals in a multiple subjects tracking to analysed, but also the relative movement between the subjects (which of them approaches or moves away from the other), the speed developed during these movements, and the distance between the animals during the track.

Smart-SS Analysis for painted animals is a new option that provides more data about the subjects' interaction.

  

SMART determines there has been a contact when two or more subjects come closer than a distance during a minimum period of time. These two parameters are freely configurable by the user.

The user can choose which interactions (an interaction considers one animal as the active part, and the other as the passive one) he/she wants to include in the report.
