TRACKING allows detecting and following the trajectory of :
  · a single subject (SMART-BS)
  · up to 16 subjects in separate arenas (SMART-MA)
  · up to 8 subjects in the same arena (SMART-SS)
  · up to 8 subjects per arena in up to 16 separate
     arenas (SMART-SS-MA)

Smart is a powerful but user-friendly video based system, that allows, using digital imaging, a precise analysis of motor behaviour in experimental animals.

Acquisition timings can easily be defined as 'free running', 'pre-set time' or 'programmed time'.

When working with multiple arenas (MA), the tracking can be started/stopped in each one independently, or all at the same time.

Three different Detection Modes can be selected to optimise the detection of the animal

Adjusting the detection of the animals is as easy as choosing the test mode and visually adapting the threshold and erosion control.
